Girls Camp Preprations...

Starburst belt we are making for our craft day: we have saved 560 tootsie roll and starburst wrappers for each girl to be able to make a belt to wear at camp. (cute and easy craft)

Secret Ward gift: our ward had to give a gift to three different wards, instead of secret sisters (being stake camp this year). We are giving a stack of twenty 12X12 papers rolled up with a disposable camera, brads and a package of tags for embelishments, with a note that says Scrapbooking items to keep the camp memories alive...Love the 12th ward Young Women!

I wanted to give the leaders all a gift from me, so I found these darling chunky bead bracelets with the value colors from Seagull Book, I wrapped in celephane and on the back were the memory books that I made for the girls too!

Dots is our theme for this years stake camp which stands for
Depending on the Savior
I am giving one to each girl inside a bag with their memory book facing the other direction.

Memory book: I loved how this turned out, I wanted to do something for each girl for camp. I found these 4X6 photo albums at walmart for a dollar, came home and scrapbooked the front and back with matching papers with our theme printed on cardstock. Added a cute ribbon down the middle to make it look like a book, for them to put all camp memoribilia inside! Behind the book are the DOTS treat.
We leave next Tues. and I am sooooo excited to get to go! Hope all will be well at home...

Hallie's finished product...choosing her own color of nail polish!
(Bright and Beautiful)
The prince after trying to be contained for two hours!
FYI: don't take an 18 month old to get your pedicure...it may kill you

Two pedicure princessess enjoying the soak
(Chelsie on the left, Jen on the right)

Hallie Bear getting her first pedicure! Started too early...she wants one once a week!

Chelsie is Richard's girlfriend who is my brother, who came from Arizona to visit. Jen is Matt's wife, my youngest brother who lives here. We decided we wanted our feet done for Twin Falls memories, it was great fun except for one thing...the little prince that tagged along to this princess party!!!

Skateland...last day of school

Papa with Hallie at skateland...she asked me if I would call and invite him because "Skateland is his favorite place"
Hallie and her friend Garrett (one of many boy FRIENDS)

the rollerbade queen!

Ryker and Ledger came with me, Ryker was sad to just have to watch and not get to skate. Last day of school is bittersweet for me...I can't wait to not have to get Hallie up everyday at 7:15, we get to sleep in! But keeping three kids entertained enough to not be fighting may be the achievment of the summer!

Vinyl Photos:

Here are the pictures I put up down my hall way of the kids on vinyl
(2 foot by 2 foot each photo)

No frame or glass, sticks right to the wall and is removable (photos only).
Add a quote and you have a masterpiece that doesn't look like the rest of the house...matted and framed!

BTW: These are from Uppercase living and I should of taken the opportunity to point that out since it is my stay at home business...feel free to go to the website or let me know and I will get you a catalog full of ideas! https://melissamemmott.uppercaseliving.net

(The photos for 24X24 were only 30.00 each which is quite a bit cheaper than going the canvas route, that I looked into.)

Ryker's Spring Sing...

Ryker having fun with his preschool classmates

Ryker had a spring sing concert for all the parents, he did a great job singing fifteen songs! Thank you to the family support who always comes with their camera!

One of those days...

Shane got a wisdom tooth pulled yesterday, in quite a bit of pain today.
Hallie came home sick with stomach flu yesterday...still throwing up.
Ledgie hanging on my leg most of today, fussy and whining.
Ryker making so much noise playing, Shane or Hallie can't sleep!

Things on the list to do today:
grocery store, bank, young women's lesson for Sunday, grandma's house to put together a pedigree chart for lesson on Sunday, a luncheon with friends, picking up some mountain dew, laundry, dinner set out for tonight, lawn mowed!

Things that got done today:
None of the above!!!

Easter fun in Utah!

These pictures are very small for some reason, probably because they were taken and downloaded from Shane's cell phone! Being the great mom I am I forgot the camera for easter pictures. I should of not worried about the easter bunny gifts and just grabbed the camera. Oh well this is what I have.
We had a great weekend, Shane installed 9 windows in his parents home on Friday, Sat. was shopping day, and conference on the radio, Sun. was the spectacular easter eggstraviganza! I laugh every time we go there for Easter, Shane's dad puts so much effort and work into this easter hunt. This year he did a treasure hunt for all 13 grandkids and when they found the note that said winner they collected $15.00 from Ma. Money was also collected when they found their color of 12 eggs hidden especially for that person. It was great, a little cold but a lot of fun being together. Games continued until Ledgie got tired and he could have his nap on the long drive home. I love easter...the wonderful conference weekend, the meaning of easter, spring time weather is almost here, and being together as a family...and of course deviled eggs (thank you Laurie, also my favorite that they had just for me bbq hotdogs! Thank you Memmott, Henrie and Garn Clan for a wonderful weekend. Holding your egg on the spoon without dropping to get to the finish line.
Hallie giving Ledgie a swing.

13 Memmott grandkids and a couple extra friends.
