We had a great Christmas at home this year. The kids got up around 8:30 and we were playing with toys the rest of the day. We got to talk to dad and julie on the computer, that was fun except for the crying when we had to say goodbye. Went to Grandma's and Grandpa's for dinner and pie that evening and then came home for more playing. We are so blessed to have a brand new baby in our home. I am still trying to adjust to three, we were on the very back row at Church today, getting anywhere ontime is the challenge. But I'm sure it will get easier. We want to wish you all a very Happy New Year with lots of blessings, prosperity and good health.

Sleigh Ride...

Shane and the kids had a blast on the 4 wheeler and sled out in the backyard. Too cold for me, but it looked fun. We've had a ton of snow and more to come!

Yeah! the cord fell off and it was tub time. Ledger loved his first bath until it was time to get out. I can't figure out who this monkey looks like??? (I think his grandpa in China) But we sure loooooove him...

So the Countdown Begins...

39 Weeks, 16 pounds extra, very sore back and feet, so nervous I can't eat or sleep, the time has finally arrived. I wish I still had a few more months but it has come fast. I haven't taken one photo this whole pregnancy and wanted one taken my last day so I could remember this bundle of joy inside all curled up. What a fabulous nine months it has been. I hope I can say that the next nine months ahead. I will be arriving at the hospital around 11 am on Tues. and hope to be holding our little one by 2:00. We will be home on Thurs. so look for more pics of this little guy.

A Great Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Miller's. We use their garage with tables from the church and a fireplace to keep warm. The food was delicious, the pumpkin pie was the favorite. After dinner we took the kids to see Bolt. It is a darling show. After the movie I went home and made my list of shopping priorities. 3:30 came early the next morning, but I was able to push and shove for everything on my list. It was a madhouse but a favorite tradition of mine.
We missed having dad and julie there, but had a great day with the family that was able to come.

Twilight Critique

The night began with a full parking lot and a line out the door of the only theater in Twin Falls Idaho. Luckily I pre-bought tickets and saved ourselves of standing in line, only to find another line inside to get in the door to the big screen. Shane was my lucky date (a good sport) that evening, we found good seats and the movie started. From out of no where screaming 15-20 year olds were jumping up and down out of their seats obviously excited about the movie. I was very excited as well because the book was so good. I felt it got off to a slow start, the chemistry you read and created from the book between Edward and Bella did not match what I had pictured. I loved that it followed the book so well, but Shane couldn't keep up! The characters were a perfect match. After two hours went by, still hearing the screaming every fifteen minutes (which got to be annoying) in between Shane was ready to get out of there. The lights came on, I was disappointed it didn't last 5 or 6 hours and cover all four books, but we were on our way home. The parking lot turned into a vampire nightmare, people with their faces painted and edward and jacob clothing everywhere! I didn't know these people existed in small Twin Falls. Pretty entertaining (the movie and the freaks) it was overall a fun show to go see, just be sure you read the book first! P.S. thanks bethany for watching the kids

Getting Ready for Christmas

Just a few pics after a week long of decorating two trees and finding a home for our christmas decorations I am finally finished! (except the outside lights mentioned previously (Shane's job). I felt a need to get it all put up before the baby comes, one of my many nesting paranoia's. I will probably be wanting to take it all down by the 20th of Dec. Does anyone know of a good psyciatrist in Twin that deals with OCD??

The JOYS of Hanging Christmas Lights:

Hanging the lights on the house with dad is always exciting for the kids. They think the roof is the greatest place to play. After a long week of thinking about putting them up, Shane finally went to work. After the last strand was in place, we noticed ONE bulb burned out so we went to replace this one bulb and blew the 10 strands that were hung. Shane turns to me and says this is why I don't do lights!!! I loaded the kids up and went to Wendys so he could burn off some steam. When I returned, the house was lit, all except one long strand over the garage. (obviously the most visible strand you can see) But it got dark quick so now another week to think and ponder (that's what I call him taking his own time, instead of on my time schedule) about how to get that one strand to work!!

TWILIGHT COUNTDOWN:

Four days until Twilight... It opens Nov. 21st, this Friday. There is a large group going at 7:20 if anyone is interested. Hopefully it will be as good as the book! (We'll keep our fingers crossed)
*Also there is BOOK FAIR at Perrine elementary this whole week, open to the public and a great place to pick up some kids books for pretty cheap. I hope to see some of you there!

An Early Birthday Celebration

We had a great weekend, Shane's mom (Ma) and sister Laurie came from Utah to celebrate Hallie's seventh birthday (a little early). Of course we opened all the presents from our Utah families a half an hour after they pulled into town. Ma made this darling pink patch work quilt for her bed, a princess apron and some fairy pajamas. Thank you Ma for your talents and the great presents! Laurie gave her a set of polly pockets that her and Ryker play for hours, thank you Laurie. The Henrie Family gave her a little pet shop digital hand held game where you feed your pet, it has been a lot of fun to play with, thank you Henrie's! Kelly and Janalyn family gave her school supplies which she looooves school and all the accessories that go with school, Thank you Memmott's. WHAT A GREAT EARLY BIRTHDAY PARTY WE HAD! Thank you Ma and Laurie for making the trip. We love and miss all of our Utah Familiy. We love you Hallie and are so greatful you are part of our family. We hate to see you grow up, Happy 7th Birthday!

Wanting some suggestions for a great camera, that takes awesome pictures, easy to run and pretty inexpensive. I have the sony cybershot and it doesn't take that great of pics, now that I am an official blogger. Thanks in advance for your comments!
