Easter Egg Coloring...
For family night we did the easter tradition...colored eggs. It was a lot of fun, until we put Ledgie up there, he banged a few together, but overall, fun being together!

Drum Roll Please...
Our Ryker turned five today, can you beleive it five years old! We had a bbq on what I thought would be a really warm day, turned out a blustery one...we ate inside with our coats on! The festivities started with sidewalk chalk, a great hamburger by the Master BBQ Chef (Shaner), followed by awesome presents from our guests then a birthday cake and song!
Ryker is at such a fun age, he loves and enjoys most everything. What he loves most is being with his dad outside. He is usually found hunting birds outback with a bb gun until dad gets home from work. He has a love for animals and bugs...he once told me everything he knows he learned from Planet Earth (the tv series I highly recommend to watch with kids, we truly live on an amazing planet). He is all boy and the love of our home, he loves his sister and brother and has a tender heart. I am so greatful you were sent to our family, we love you with all our hearts...dad, mom, sissy and ledgie!

Happy Birthday to ME! (3/10)
What a great day...Shane picked up breakfast from our favorite, Molly's Bakery at seven in the morning. Went to lunch with all my Miller family at Tomatoes. That evening was New Beginnings for the Young Women, so I was at the church most of the evening, but came home to a wonderful husband and two kids hiding behind the counter with a banana cream pie all lit up with candles (which I assume wasn't easy to go and get since I had all the carseats in my car). What a great way to end the day...lots of friends stopping by with gifts, tons of phone calls from family and friends (even if they did have to talk to the answering machine, they made me smile) birthday cards in the mail, it was a special day. Thank you to a great husband, family and friends for making 34 FUN!!!

thoughts outloud!
ordered the bedspread! Yahoo, can't wait for it to come. Beautiful day outside, talked to my brother Trevor in Pheonix who is doing awesome from giving up quite a heavy addiction, it's been a month today of nothing! I am reminded when one door closes another door opens.
Am loving Sugardoodle for my lessons, how easy it is, all done for you.
Sorry for the boring post, I am just not a facebooker to say this there, so sharing on the blog!

Where does the time GO???
Holy smokes, it has been forever since I posted.
Long month, that we are ready to have go by. I had the flu for four days, couple weeks past and then Hallie got it for four days, Ryker and Ledgie are trying to survive a bad cold.
Ward boundries were changed and new callings were given. Shane is the 1st Counciler in the Sunday School Presidency, which we are still trying to figure out what his role is in this position. (he is hoping for a bell ringer job) I was called into Young Womens (beehive advisor) and I haven't stopped jumping up and down since I got the call. I am so excited, only four beehives in these new ward boundries but I'm not complaining! First Lesson...this Sunday.
Ledgie is finally weaned from nursing after ? months. Yikes, I can't beleive it went on that long, but in a way it just flew by. It was hard to give up and I think it was more me than him in the end. He is still his happy go lucky personality and I keep hoping he will grab at my shirt to let me know it is has been missed, but no grabbing. I wanted to have a date set of when to be done, I threw out a reward, so I would keep on track to a weaning date. Tommarow I am going on a girls overnighter to Boise, something we have talked about for months, but could never go because of nursing. I can't wait, the weaning has been worth it!!!
(Thank you Shaner for letting me go have fun).
So yes, the Memmott's are all alive and well (for now). Looking forward to SPRING! My March goal is to be better at blogging no matter how busy life gets...

Guess who's 36 Today?

Yep, you guessed it by these cute pictures...Shane! This guy is the love of my life. He is the most easy going and always happy person. He is a hard worker and loves to be outdoors. Shane has a passion for hunting and fishing. Ryker is his shadow, and he loves it (most of the time).I am so greatful to two wonderful parents who raised their son well. He has his mom's compassion, kind heart and definatly non-confrentational personality. Shane get's his hard work from his dad. His dad is the one who taught him the enjoyment of hunting and being together as a family in the great outdoors. We hope you have the best Birthday ever! You deserve it...We love you with all our hearts! Love Liss, Hallie, Ryker and Ledgie

Schneider's Skink:
Ryker and his new pet lizard
Checkerboarded orange and gray on his back.
Mauls this thing for hours
After hours of research on which lizard would make the best pet, this is the one we chose. Ryker has been dying to get one so this is his early birthday present. It is a skink and very friendly. It is a lizard made just for kids. He has been mauled for the last five days and hasn't hissed or bit anything or anyone. His diet is easy, pellets, vegetables, fruits and crickets every other week. My favorite part is the tank, we got a big one from Petsmart and I have to re-decorate it everyday from little hands knocking things over to catch the lizard. He doesn't have a name today Ryker says. It has been Gollum, Randall from Monsters Inc., Orangie? and Talon...if anyone has suggestions we are open. Just what we needed another pet to add to the Memmott zoo, luckily this one is very easy maintance. We just hope it survives two little boys and sissy's friends.
