First Day of School...

Ledger enjoying a popcicle for breakfast...yum

Ryker still deciding whether or not to go to Kindergarten this morning. Dad giving the pep talk!

Our clothes were laid out, blessings given the night before, backpacks packed and breakfast set out, waiting for this day to come for the last two weeks...Midnightish Hallie comes running into our bedroom throwing up and didn't stop until 6:30 this morning. Of all days the first day of school is the one she misses. Poor thing was so sad to not get to go meet her teacher. She had a popcicle for breakfast while Ryker had a meltdown about his first day at kindergarten. Ledger was wide awake at 7:30. We got off to a great start...at least great intentions!!! Ryker finally made it to the car and we went to go meet his teacher, put things in his desk and kiss goodbye. Then I went to Hallie's class, put all her supplies where they needed to go, met her teacher and was sent home with a homework packet! Missed my traditional breakfast with girlfriends, oh well there is always tommarow/next year!!!!
The memories we will ENJOY...(smile with a small laugh)

Highland Water Park...

What a fun place to play in Highland, UT. Betty took us there while we were in town last weekend for Swiss Days. Had a great weekend, all except the stomach flu that went through Ledger, Shane, Ryker then Me on Saturday (the dreaded drive home). I didn't think it would get Hallie but it did! CHECK NEXT POST FOR DETAILS

Had a family reunion with the Memmott side at Flaming Gorge this past weekend. We had a great time being together and having fun on the water! With a couple of boats, lots of tries at the wakeboard and kneeboard (no not me), fishing and tubing! What a great vacation, also found out Ledger wants to be a fish in his second life! Couldn't keep him away. Thank you Memmott Clan for a fun time! Our turn to plan next years if anyone has any great ideas for a family of 25?! Burley here we come...1/2 hour drive for the Idahoans!!!

Missing U!

I have an addiction to my blackberry...three days ago it had a white screen and apparently couldn't be fixed. So a new one is on its way (a week later) of course without any of my contacts or pictures...gotta love sprint! Life without texting has been unbearable and miserable, just to even say hi to friends and family! I joined the texting world only a few months ago and now addicted. Hurry blackberry so I can find some normalcy!

Girls Camp Preprations...

Starburst belt we are making for our craft day: we have saved 560 tootsie roll and starburst wrappers for each girl to be able to make a belt to wear at camp. (cute and easy craft)

Secret Ward gift: our ward had to give a gift to three different wards, instead of secret sisters (being stake camp this year). We are giving a stack of twenty 12X12 papers rolled up with a disposable camera, brads and a package of tags for embelishments, with a note that says Scrapbooking items to keep the camp memories alive...Love the 12th ward Young Women!

I wanted to give the leaders all a gift from me, so I found these darling chunky bead bracelets with the value colors from Seagull Book, I wrapped in celephane and on the back were the memory books that I made for the girls too!

Dots is our theme for this years stake camp which stands for
Depending on the Savior
I am giving one to each girl inside a bag with their memory book facing the other direction.

Memory book: I loved how this turned out, I wanted to do something for each girl for camp. I found these 4X6 photo albums at walmart for a dollar, came home and scrapbooked the front and back with matching papers with our theme printed on cardstock. Added a cute ribbon down the middle to make it look like a book, for them to put all camp memoribilia inside! Behind the book are the DOTS treat.
We leave next Tues. and I am sooooo excited to get to go! Hope all will be well at home...

Hallie Bear getting her first pedicure! Started too early...she wants one once a week!

Chelsie is Richard's girlfriend who is my brother, who came from Arizona to visit. Jen is Matt's wife, my youngest brother who lives here. We decided we wanted our feet done for Twin Falls memories, it was great fun except for one thing...the little prince that tagged along to this princess party!!!

Skateland...last day of school

Hallie and her friend Garrett (one of many boy FRIENDS)

the rollerbade queen!

Ryker and Ledger came with me, Ryker was sad to just have to watch and not get to skate. Last day of school is bittersweet for me...I can't wait to not have to get Hallie up everyday at 7:15, we get to sleep in! But keeping three kids entertained enough to not be fighting may be the achievment of the summer!

Vinyl Photos:

Here are the pictures I put up down my hall way of the kids on vinyl
(2 foot by 2 foot each photo)

No frame or glass, sticks right to the wall and is removable (photos only).
Add a quote and you have a masterpiece that doesn't look like the rest of the house...matted and framed!

BTW: These are from Uppercase living and I should of taken the opportunity to point that out since it is my stay at home business...feel free to go to the website or let me know and I will get you a catalog full of ideas! https://melissamemmott.uppercaseliving.net

(The photos for 24X24 were only 30.00 each which is quite a bit cheaper than going the canvas route, that I looked into.)

Ryker's Spring Sing...

Ryker having fun with his preschool classmates

Easter fun in Utah!

These pictures are very small for some reason, probably because they were taken and downloaded from Shane's cell phone! Being the great mom I am I forgot the camera for easter pictures. I should of not worried about the easter bunny gifts and just grabbed the camera. Oh well this is what I have.
We had a great weekend, Shane installed 9 windows in his parents home on Friday, Sat. was shopping day, and conference on the radio, Sun. was the spectacular easter eggstraviganza! I laugh every time we go there for Easter, Shane's dad puts so much effort and work into this easter hunt. This year he did a treasure hunt for all 13 grandkids and when they found the note that said winner they collected $15.00 from Ma. Money was also collected when they found their color of 12 eggs hidden especially for that person. It was great, a little cold but a lot of fun being together. Games continued until Ledgie got tired and he could have his nap on the long drive home. I love easter...the wonderful conference weekend, the meaning of easter, spring time weather is almost here, and being together as a family...and of course deviled eggs (thank you Laurie, also my favorite that they had just for me bbq hotdogs! Thank you Memmott, Henrie and Garn Clan for a wonderful weekend. Holding your egg on the spoon without dropping to get to the finish line.
Hallie giving Ledgie a swing.

13 Memmott grandkids and a couple extra friends.

Drum Roll Please...

Our Ryker turned five today, can you beleive it five years old! We had a bbq on what I thought would be a really warm day, turned out a blustery one...we ate inside with our coats on! The festivities started with sidewalk chalk, a great hamburger by the Master BBQ Chef (Shaner), followed by awesome presents from our guests then a birthday cake and song!
Ryker is at such a fun age, he loves and enjoys most everything. What he loves most is being with his dad outside. He is usually found hunting birds outback with a bb gun until dad gets home from work. He has a love for animals and bugs...he once told me everything he knows he learned from Planet Earth (the tv series I highly recommend to watch with kids, we truly live on an amazing planet). He is all boy and the love of our home, he loves his sister and brother and has a tender heart. I am so greatful you were sent to our family, we love you with all our hearts...dad, mom, sissy and ledgie! the new race track
who was the camera man here???

Papa and Julie bought him this fanny pack and filled it with money and fishing stuff, he was thrilled!

Grandma and Grandpa Miller got him a nerf gun, Karen and girls got him an awesome dinosaur book, Matt and Jen bought him a gift card from Sportsmans (he asked if he could go there today)Hallie bought him a quarter collection book and Ledgie bought him a dragon...he got a lizard from mom and dad.
