Kids Say The Darndest Things:

We stopped by a resturaunt tonight and they had quite a few lobsters in a tank.
Ryker walks over, takes a long look and comes to ask Shane...
Can we cut those "bandaids" off the lobster claws so we can watch them fight?
I laughed for an hour, he is our sword fighter, kung fu panda man, karate kicker...the list goes on with this almost four year old!

Happy Birthday Shaner!

Yummy cake and ice cream with the kids
He got a charger for his four wheeler, a new pair of hunting boots from the kids and lots of birthday money from his family. We had a great celebration with friends at Canyon Creek Resturant. (If you haven't been it is fabulous). Then came home for cake and ice cream with the kids. His cell phone rang off the hook from family and friends all day. Who would of thought 35! It comes so fast. Hope you had a great day, we love you babe!

Christmas 2008:

Some Pictures on Christmas Day over at Grandma and Grandpas for Dinner:

Me and Ledger

Hallie got a new shirt from Grandma and GrandpaThe three musketeers in their matching fleece camo coats from Grandma and GrandpaRyker in his ninja costume from Grandma Memmott (Ma)

We had a great Christmas at home this year. The kids got up around 8:30 and we were playing with toys the rest of the day. We got to talk to dad and julie on the computer, that was fun except for the crying when we had to say goodbye. Went to Grandma's and Grandpa's for dinner and pie that evening and then came home for more playing. We are so blessed to have a brand new baby in our home. I am still trying to adjust to three, we were on the very back row at Church today, getting anywhere ontime is the challenge. But I'm sure it will get easier. We want to wish you all a very Happy New Year with lots of blessings, prosperity and good health.

Professional Pics of Ledger

Sleigh Ride...

Shane and the kids had a blast on the 4 wheeler and sled out in the backyard. Too cold for me, but it looked fun. We've had a ton of snow and more to come!

GREAT REMINDER FOR THE HOLIDAY CRAZINESS:

I wanted to post this great poem that came my way by email just to be a reminder on my blog (journal) for me to re-read this holiday season.
©By Sharon Jaynes
If I decorate my house perfectly with lovely plaid bows, strands of
twinkling lights, and shiny glass balls, but do not show love to my
family - I'm just another decorator. If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals, and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family - I'm just another cook.
If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home, and give
all that I have to charity, but do not show love to my family - It
profits me nothing. If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties, and sing in the choir's cantata
but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.Love stops the cooking to hug the child.Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the husband.
Love is kind, though harried and tired.Love doesn't envy another home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.Love doesn't yell at the kids to get out of the way.Love doesn't give only to those who are able to give in return, but
rejoices in giving to those who can't.Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
Love never fails. Video games will break; pearl necklaces will be
lost; golf clubs will rust. But giving the gift of love will endure.
(Thanks Julie for sending this to me, what a great reminder)
